Chick-fil-A’s announcement that it was dumping the Salvation Army and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, which have come under attack by gay activist groups, caught Christian fans of the fast food chain by surprise. It shouldn’t have if they had been paying attention to CFA’s corporate structure.
The donations were coming out of the Chick-fil-A Foundation. The Executive Director of the CFA Foundation is Rodney D. Bullard, a former White House fellow and Assistant US Attorney. Some may have mistaken him for a conservative because he was a fellow in the Bush Administration, but he was an Obama donor, and, more recently, had donated to Hillary Clinton’s campaign while at Chick-fil-A.
Like many corporations, Chick-fil-A branded its charitable giving as a form of social responsibility. Bullard became its Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility. Unlike charity, corporate social responsibility is a leftist endeavor to transform corporations into the political arms of radical causes. Like other formerly conservative corporations, Chick-fil-A had made the fundamental error of adopting the language and the infrastructure of its leftist peers. I gave up fast food for the most part, but this was the only fast food place I would do business with over the last 10 years. I’m done with Chick Filet now.
They already stopped lemon pie and chicken salad a ways back anyway, and those were my favorites.

Their announcement did not say anything about “dumping charities that don’t support LBGT”
It simply said they were restructuring their giving, and they continue to give to OTHER Christian charities. They don’t give to the same people every year. Some libtard compared this years list to last years and said “oh look they dumped Salvation Army- it must be because they hate gays”

Everyone should know that the Salvation Army will snail mail a card if you donate "In Memoriam" for a deceased person ("in lieu of flowers", etc). It just so happens that in this case, the Deceased has a corporate PO Box laughably addressed as: Chick-fil-A CARES P.O. Box 725489. Atlanta, GA 31139-9923 You can even personalize with a short note. AWESOME.
This Christian has sworn off their food. I had a chance to eat some at a meeting the other day that was already paid for but chose to use the snack bar and buy my own. They can use their silver however they please but none of it will come from me. Having said that, I also started a monthly donation to the FCA and have given to the Salvation Army. I know where my money is going.
I called Franklin Graham’s Samaritan’s Purse today to discuss their support of CFA. I was told by a SP rep that the good covenant House, CFA’s new charity, does outweighs their pro homosexual activism.

This is the CFA Foundation. The company is still run by conservatives with other foundations and donations to conservative causes.

Absolutely! They might as well have named it the department of Social Justice. The fox is in the chick-fil-a coop having a ball. Salvation Army can forget about seeing another penny from them.
