It was a bear-y baffling discovery in front of a North Carolina home.
Cornelius Williams returned home from the grocery store Tuesday night and heard a squeaky noise coming from a cardboard box left in his walkway, WTKR-TV reported.
It was dark outside, so Williams called authorities for help. A deputy approached the box, peered inside and to his surprise — he found two newborn bear cubs.
Bears are no stranger to Camden County, Sheriff Kevin Jones said. But, he said finding cubs in a box was “a little strange.”
Williams wasn’t sure why he was left to bear with the box of blanket-wrapped cubs, but they are out of his paws now.
The bears were taken to the North Carolina Zoo in Asheboro to be examined and cared for, news outlets reported.
That’s fun. I grew up in this area.
I think the box guy mistook what he meant when Williams kept telling people he has the right to bear arms..
Sounds like somebody robbed a bear den.
Makes me wonder what might have happened to mama bear.
Imagine the porch pirate who accidently stole that box.
The good people at Appalachian Bear Rescue will take very good care of them. They don’t stay adorable for long, at least not up close.

The idolization of fourfooted beasts" flows from idolatry, as does idolization of higher order of created beings, of man himself, ascribing to such attributes, glory and titles that are nowhere given to anyone but God. Thus Christ was charged with blasphemy for claiming the same, but the accusers where blind to the fact that Christ was God in nature.

Ask anyone who believes in the veneration of people and icons. Why was the Holy of Holies empty in the 2nd Temple? Why does God command in the 1st commandment that all worship is to be directed towards him? Further why did God allow the Ark of the Covenant to be captured by the Philistines?
