Yes, Sony was failing with their Spider-man reboot so they made a deal to allow Marvel to make Spider-man movies and put him in the Avengers, but they retain the rights and the rights to all the related Spider-man characters and villains.
It is what Hollywood does and they just cannot help themselves. They build the success of a franchise free and clear of the woke culture.
Then, some exec with an agenda says, “now that we got em coming to the theatres to see this, let’s indoctrinate!!”
And so as Star Wars did, Marvel has now fallen into this. Soon we will see a female Thor, more Captain Marvel, Iron Man played by vagina candle girl, Asgard ruled by black female Odin, Black Widow (which might be cool but will undoubtedly be so woke as to kill it) and on and on. Female Captain America?!? Why not transgender.
And now, gay Spider Man. Released just in time to have a poster of Mayor Pete in his room, no doubt and probably busy fighting crime committed by evil Trump supporters against Mayor Pete’s campaign.

So now his successors will say to mom “Can I get a sex change and be more like Spiderman?” “The teacher at school told us about them this week.”
