Star Trek - Long Way to Go - Phil Collins An examination of the emotions required of a commander who cares about his crew but has to accept putting them into danger.
You’re an angel. And it’s ms.
In fandom, we use this type of music video to pull people into a fandom that has us captured. That way we have more people to get excited with and they may do more creative things to entertain us, in turn.
When you build these literary music videos well, they have levels of meaning so that, if you know a show lightly, they draw on physical connections to the words. The deeper you know the show, the more levels of meaning you find. My favorite was a Blakes 7 video I did that used a clip from an episode of the same name as the words the clip covered.
Try this one. It’s funny rather than serious.

Nicely done!
(Geez, I sound like Picard.)
It’s a latin root word meaning one who is entrusted.
Thank you, Paul. Very much appreciated. And, yes, as you say that, I CAN hear Picard’s voice.
Nice! Now that I’m an old lady, I look back on Shat and think, WOW that guy was freaking hot!
I knew from the title it would be one of your videos, though I havent seen you in a while. Ill watch later. Let us know, in the meantime, if the new Picard show is good or if it truly is anti-conservative as Patrick Stewart suggested. I may give it a try if you like it.
I have to say that I was more of a Spock fan but, as I age, Kirk is looking REALLY good! And thank you!

I have to admit that I don’t watch anything that is reputed to be anti-conservative. There have been times when I’ve spun through a show that is anti-conservative, but that’s when I knew, as in Boston Legal, to turn off the sound when the younger lawyer was speaking and turn it back on for Shatner.
I’m sticking with the oldie but goodie. I love DS9 for Garek and enjoyed STTNG when the counselor wasn’t on. I disliked her so much I made a video of her to Billy Joel’s “My Life” (this is my life, leave me alone), available only on my website.

And I really enjoy the original remake movies.
So if you find out the new show is tolerable, let me know. I’ll always watch art made by anti-conservative artists, but I can’t bring myself to listen to much of their ranting on anti-conservative topics.
Yep, thanks to my wife's sharp eyes when she was web-surfing the day before. I didn't even know that Shatner was going to be in my area until she spotted an ad.
I've seen him in person before, when I was a kid. It was in the early '70s, when the Trek franchise was coming back to life due to syndication. I think those were some lean times for Bill; he was doing the "World of Wheels" car show circuit - sitting up on a stage signing copies of promo photographs and car show calendars (the line wrapped around the auditorium). The guy has had quite a run.
One of those observations of Dee Kelley was as he popped a bagel into the toaster at the studio's breakfast kiosk and then stood there radiating eager anticipation. Bill couldn't resist a good prank, though, so he enlisted Nimoy to distract Kelley before the toaster popped up - removing the bagel and pushing the toaster handle back down. Kelley returned in time to see the toaster pop up - empty, and then a range of expressions crossed his face - puzzlement, disbelief, and finally anger when he realized that he'd been Shetner's victim once again.
It's just a tiny peek, but I think that story offers a glimpse into why that particular casting "chemistry" worked.
What a wonderful story!
Did you see the video I shot of the crew getting into the National Association of Broadcasters’ Hall of Fame?

That was great (hot Kirk).
He was very handsome.
He had a series a few years ago about remodeling his house called The Shatner Project (IIRC). Great show . I love his humor.
cheers
That’s one of my favorite Shatner videos.
There’s also one for Spock.

Thanks for the link. I’ll definitely go through them. I also just rediscovered Red Eye, so I think our evenings are going to be full for a while.
I always liked the Spock character. Nimoy was a very interesting man.
I just watched your Trump/Pavorati video. Wonderful. I love Trump.
Will watch more videos tomorrow.
Cheers
I’m in FR and the treehouse just to find people who love Trump, too. I never watched the Apprentice, but the first time I heard Trump speak politically, I fell head over heels and haven’t gotten up since. I’m as thrilled about Trump as I am about fandom. They’re two different worlds but I love them just as much.
I separate my videos into over 50 playlists. There’s one for politics.

Also one for Star Trek.

Ditto on Trump. I didn’t watch The Apprentice either. Watched the Golden Escalator announcement and everything after and quickly was a devoted supporter of Trump. He has my eternal gratitude for what he’s doing for our country.
Oh cool! I will check out more videos tomorrow and beyond!
cheers!

You’re most welcome. Hope you enjoy them. I’m having fun watching them again, myself. I love being a conservative, but I also love being a fan. Many great people in both communities.
