I have rheumatoid arthritis and my right hand is the worst of all my joints. Men love to grab my hand and CRUSH it so I cry and I cannot use my hand for a week. I am an almost 70 year old granny. I try to not shake hands and men literally tell me off! Well maybe after this I will be able to shame them right back LOL
American manners are that the woman offers her hand, not the man. So just don’t offer it. They’ll think you don’t know any better but at least you’ll still have the use of your fingers.
