I grilled up some burgers today.
Five Guys Six Feet Apart for Burgers
I made some myself today.
There is a Five Guys and Bad Daddy’s down the main drag from me.
Never been much for Five Guys.
I usually get take out from Bad Daddy’s once a week.
Florida man times five!
Went one time. Overpriced, mediocre, Uber filthy.
I like the fries...
You must have went to the one in Brandon , Florida.

I get a pound of grass fed ground beef and cut it in half. Then I put each half in a Tupperware hamburger press like below and have two perfect 8-oz patties.
I coat the patties in dry rub of salt, pepper and other seasonings like onion or garlic powder.. Let sit to room temperature. Then put on grill, only flipping once. Three and a half minutes first side and about three minutes on the other.
Meanwhile, I've got onions, garlic and jalapeno peppers on the grill. After they are cooked, I drizzle in olive oil and put on the burgers in a potato bun. Top with a thick slice (or two) of swiss cheese and there you have your perfect burgers!
I enjoyed my Five Guys burger and ff’s in Nags Head in 2007.

You know, I made some hamburgers a few years back. I don’t cook very often.
I sauteed bits some celery and red onion, cut up some Cremini Mushrooms and bits of Havarti cheese.
Little bit of rosemary and Montreal Steak Seasoning, then “Oh My Gawd!!!”
So Flipping Delicious.
Even made my own potato chip out of red potatoes. rosemary and garlic salt.

I consider Five Guys to be “okay” fast food and enjoy it a couple times a year. Burger is decent and fresh-cut fries are pretty good. What bugs me a little is the cost. It seems that a burger, fries and soda there total out to around $13-14. There are plenty of sit-down places where you can get a similar meal for a similar price. It’s a little irritating that they’re charging sit-down prices for fast food.
