If your state is on lockdown. If your state is determining essential businesses. Are they still selling lottery tickets? Are lottery tickets essential? Is it worth having those customers in line?

No big lines. I run into a quik mart and grab them.
But the jackpot is a bunch of toilet paper now...

When i went to pick up my Stella Cider today at the beer distributor the PA Lottery was down. But it normally is still in operation.
By the way, jackpots are low because ticket sales are low.

Because they can and they know that when times are difficult the traditional poor and new poor will pay that voluntary tax.
they are in Michigan...but in Detroit, alot of stores turned off their machines because of crowding in the stores. they wrote to the gov asking to turn them all off...
Funny that in Ohio they’re trying to limit numbers at stores and only want us going out for essentials. But you end up “social distancing” from people only buying scratch-offs.

Alabama went on Red Alert, Weapons Hot, at 5 PM this afternoon, but we don’t have lottery here. Although, I am only five minutes from the GA line, so they may still be selling them there. Between the lockdown, the only local Walmart within 25 miles being all but closed now, and several other factors, it’s become looking like an abandoned mining town around here.
