France with 5100 new cases
it’s 4th highest so far
also about 833 new deaths with about 200 of those “non-hospital deaths”

Italy only 3600 new cases but 636 new deaths a tick up

I think the US model data had the slopes too steep..both up and down as far as deaths...time will tell

impimp is precisely the type of person form whom stay-at-home orders were designed.

Church feeds a multitude with dwindling shelves (North Carolina, 4/5/20)

I see the resident troll loser has slithered back over, out from under his idiotic thread rock, to the new thread.

That one needs to get a life.

"We have seen this pattern before—some states do not report on Sundays."

My source breaks it down by state, and every state shows new cases yesterday. The figures might not be final, but they aren't missing any states. My experience with that site is that the numbers usually don't change much the following day.

One quirk of the site is that it runs on Greenwich time, so mid-evening our time they are showing tomorrow's numbers. (The site monitors all countries, not just the US.) But they have a "Yesterday" tab so you can easily go back.

Joe Biden: “We cannot let this, we’ve never allowed any crisis from the Civil War straight through to the pandemic of 17, all the way around, 16, we have never, never let our democracy sakes second fiddle, way they, we can both have a democracy and ... correct the public health.” pic.twitter.com/Ymz8JtQvjH— Trump War Room - Text TRUMP to 88022 (@TrumpWarRoom) April 6, 2020

Worldometer is the site I’ve been following. Some states (e.g. New York) seem to report in real time throughout the day, others (e.g. Washington) seem to report only once or twice a day.

And Biden wants to advise Trump? He can hardly utter a complete sentence anymore.

“Yesterday saw a big drop of about 9,000 new cases and about 200 fewer deaths, but today’s early numbers don’t suggest we’ll see another big drop - maybe even a raise. Damn.”

It happens every Sunday.

Wash your hands and turn off cable TV. The epidemic will be over in an hour. We are locking down an entire country because 7300 people have died. Seriously?

If this was an epidemic you would know it.

Looking for input on a trigger to end the daily thread. Not a date, but a trigger.

I would say when the killer asteroid appears, you can pull it ...
