They have more comorbidities such as hypertension, smoking, obesity and difficulties accessing healthcare. He, again, thinks the CV rate is due to lack of Vit. D.

Someone should do some statistics on how close the social interaction is in the black community in normal times compared with elsewhere. My gut feeling is that it’s much closer than in the white population.
Maybe the underlying-conditions explanation is a little too simple.
I’m not suggesting that they are ignoring the recommendations more than others, just that they are starting from a different “normal.”
