Your observation above is proof, that we didn’t carry the virus over to infect the ChiComs.
As you and others have mentioned here and in other posts, many of us on the West Coast may have gotten impacted with this virus in late November~Dec. We may have “herded” out with this virus before most of our nation was impacted.
Italy also had cases of a, “strange pneumonia” in their northern provinces, as early as the end of October into November.
Considering both areas of the world, the west coast and northern Italy, have high numbers of Chinese residents and travelers, I don’t see it originating with us.
I know that epidemiologists in Asia are claiming that we are the only source of all types of COVID-19, but I have yet to see that confirmed by the EU or US or even the WHO. The virus also mutates twice a month on average, so it actually makes sense that those last to be infected have all types considering we have all types of travelers coming to and leaving from our country.
Then again, I’m not an epidemiologist.
