“Yes, smokers do worse”, because you said so...

Vapers get the additional benefit of vaporized propylene glycol which is virucidal.

Lots of bullshit studies out there that allowed the states to reap hundreds of millions of dollars from the tobacco industry under the auspices of helping to pay for healthcare of smokers in their respective states.

It was a nationwide campaign exercised to perfection.............

1. Pick a target: Tobacco

2. Freeze it

3. Personalize it - nobody likes tobacco smoke

4. Polarize it - smokers are repulsive

5. Demonize it - ban smoking from all airplanes....etc, etc...etc. then bars and restaurants

Now that you have the entire non smoking population on your side, suing the hell out of the tobacco companies was a piece of cake...........

In 2019, Michigan received $1.2 billion (estimated) in revenue from tobacco settlement payments and taxes in fiscal year 2019. Of this, the state allocated $1.6 million in state funds to tobacco prevention in fiscal year 2019...........LOL!

Funny how that works out isn't it?

Reminds me I have not seen a cigarette vending machine in decades. Perhaps those machines are illegal nowadays.

Well, I’ve already stocked up on Ivermectin. Now I guess I got to get me a bunch of cans of Skoal.

“fags is an old irish term for cigarettes”

Still used today in Ireland and the UK. If in reference to a gay the normal term is poofter or a poof if being derogatory. If not being derogatory they just say gay.

A fag is a cigarette on the other side of the pond.

I Forgot to add this about the origin of the word.

“The term faggot or fagot, meaning bundle of sticks, shows up around 1300 in English. It almost certainly came from Old French, possibly going back to Greek phakelos. Since those bundles of sticks were mainly used for fires, it’s not surprising that the term came to mean burning sticks.”

Thus the term faggot is easily understood in relationship to cigarettes. I have no idea how it became applied to homosexuals.

The actual hypothesis, proposal and theory is well thought out, documented and worth the time to the read.

A nicotinic hypothesis for Covid-19 with preventive and therapeutic implications

There are numerous nicotinic receptors. The locations of them are compelling when compared with the viral presentation.

In my scientific analysis, it is not nicotine that keeps smokers from getting Covid-19, but that no one wants to get near those stinky, hacking smokers anyway, so ‘Social Distancing’ is automatic and extended.

Funny that your first two links don’t even say that. COPD is not vaping, not proven to be vaping-related.

I didn’t even bother with looking at the other two.

It’s also common sense smoking will only make your chances with covid-19 worse. Italy proved that.

Because China says so... LOL!

Smoking doesn’t make anyone’s lungs healthier, that’s why it’s common sense covid will be worse with compromised lungs. It certainly won’t be better.
