They’re partying like it’s 2019.
Lockdown-weary New Yorkers ditched the distancing to get social instead this weekend - transforming parts of the Big Apple into a raucous, late-season Mardi Gras.
Yet the city’s COVID-be-damned attitude was nothing compared with the scene in Belmar, NJ, a beach popular with Staten Islanders and Brooklynites.
Huge crowds waited shoulder-to-shoulder on the boardwalk for their turn to buy beach badges.
“The line for beach badges was like four non-socially distanced blocks long,” tweeted Jarrett Seidler, who described the boardwalk as “obscenely packed.”
Outside popular bars on the Upper East Side, the Upper West Side, the East and West Villages and in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, The Post found booze hounds arriving for the takeout cocktails and then staying - and staying - to sip drinks on packed sidewalks and soak up the lively scenes.
“How are you going to drink with a mask on?” one reveler, hairdresser Akeem Kelley, told The Post.

Uh...how about you start with caring for yourself Ann Trent. If you were irresponsible enough to go out in the crowds, what the hell were you thinking?
I mentioned to my wife about 2 weeks ago that it wouldn’t be much longer before ordinary people just got tired of all this quarantine crap and just started going out. They would ignore the quarantine rules and authorities could do nothing about it.
Thank God. Even in NYC, people say “enough” with the draconian 2 month long lockdown.
Oh nos! Somewhere people are having fun. Need to put a stop to it!

The biggest fear the left has right now is that once people go out and about, the infection rate does not increase.

And so is everyone else, and they’re not trying to tell her what she can and can’t do, so she should STFU. She can CHOOSE what to do or not to do, or what risks she is or is not willing to take.

Just shut up and give it a rest already. We’ve had enough. “15 days to flatten the curve” became “You’re a heartless murderer if you don’t wear a mask, don’t socialist distance... We can never stop all of this until everyone is vaccinated...”

I think he was calling her out for being outside with everyone else yet still complains about other people not following the quarantine. Hypocrisy at its finest.
