We used to shoot them just for target practice, back when local dumps left the garbage exposed.
Recall setting one dump on fire, by using Comet tracer ammo.
One time my friend John decided to use his 12 gauge to better assure his kills. The excessive noise attracted attention, and the cops ran us off, with just a warning.
