I agree with Dwight Howard, who knew?
Then, practice what you preach and don’t play.
I have long anticipated, all entertainers would basically do the same thing, basically refuse to work while Trump was still in the WH.
All the more reason that he must win in November.
but Disney paid all that money for BLM - surely the NBA could help them out and help unite the US?
No - we want to have a race war?
America is so racist, that this retard made 140 million playing a game.
Oh yeah, he doesn’t date Black chicks either.
Oreo cookie, Uncle Tom ass...
Or any moment as far as Im concerned.
No pro sport is ever “needed”!
There should be two leagues then. One league would include those who want to get paid for playing basketball. The other league would be for those who want to sit out.
Id love to see less bread and circuses, especially if it meant hearing less from overpaid, priveleged, pampered sports heroes. Itd be better for Americans if theyd delay their restart for years.
Can you use sports as a platform to espouse your beliefs if you erase sports from the equation? Lets find out! Theres some teenage phenom out there just waiting to kneel for the anthem. I cant wait to hear from him once we work out how well even know who he is.
With ESPN having its lowest ratings in 41 years, the roundball money seems to be drying up. Sad, isn’t it? /sarc
Sports fanatics have figured out they can do just fine without their sports. And do he and others realize, no play no pay? Maybe not instantly but certainly eventually. Good luck with that.
I would go one step further and say that basketball is not needed ever.
Pro sports are not needed IMO
He can say that again. Further, I would say it’s never needed.
My People = Racist POS. Defund the NBA and the NFL. They are both full of racists. If we are supposed to defund all police for the actions of a few, we should apply the same standard to other areas right????
You can bet Dwight has a guaranteed contract.
It isn’t needed at any moment.
How about ever?
My children, ages 14 and 11, who play organized sports very seriously, have little to no interest in professional sports. Quite the opposite of me when I was their age. Like most kids back in the late 70s and early 80s, I grew up following professional sports, watching every game and reading the newspaper’s sports section first the next morning. I woke up and went to bed thinking about my teams. None of that happens with my kids, and I hear from my friends this is a common theme for today’s youth. I used to think this was a shame, and now I find it a blessing.
