“A New York doctor who rose to prominence for promoting a controversial drug cocktail as a weapon against the coronavirus announced that he is leaving the community where he treated mostly Hasidic Jewish clients for about two decades.
Dr. Vladimir “Zev” Zelenko — who promoted the use of the anti-malarial drug hydroxychloroquine, combined with azithromycin and zinc sulfate — practiced in Monroe, near the Hasidic enclave of Kiryas Joel, according to reports.
In a video shared in Orthodox circles on Whatsapp, Zelenko said he has decided to step away from the community, according to the Forward.
“It’s with a broken heart that I have to say this, but I have decided to leave Monroe after almost two decades of working as a doctor, taking care of the community, most recently with this terrible magefah,” Zelenko said, using the Hebrew word for plague.
Zelenko said he made the decision after speaking with his family and religious advisers — “and thinking about what I want for the future, I’ve decided that it’s time for me to move on.””

Dr Zev also did a recent interview with Dr Drew Pinsky, regarding this protocol.
Dr Pinsky admitted that he was not a HCQ believer, to begin with, but is, now.

According to an interview from 7/4/20, Dr Z is still in the same community. He made no mention of leaving, although that doesn’t mean he is not planning to leave.
He has consulted with FIVE countries on his COVID/China Flu treatment protocol....Brazil, Isreal, parts of Russia, Ukraine and Guatemala, per his interview (linked at post # 8).

His appearance and credentials may seem short but his countenance is more of history and his mind is brilliant.
Dr. Zelenko was tops in his class in chemistry and readily accepted into many medical schools according to his high IQ where he could have pursued any medical specialization he deemed fit.
But he suddenly, after leading a secular existence, he found how important God is. So he put off medical school and instead went to Yeshiva in Israel to study for a year. This changed his life causing him to decide that he would best serve God by becoming a doctor to a conservative orthodox Jewish community.
In short, his looks, credentials, position lead him to be severely underrated. But those appearances are deceiving.
I became interested in following Dr. Zelenko after I saw him to be an honorable person who was viciously attacked by fake news and fake science in the same manner that I saw someone else viciously attacked in 2015 until the present. This latter person was Donald Trump.
Then I learned Dr. Zelenko had arrived at age 4 from Ukraine and grew up in Brooklyn. In interviews where he was questioned about the irrational attacks on his character and on his results with Hydroxychloroquine and Zinc Sulfate in treating the coronavirus and COVID-19, I saw his Brooklyn street attitude come out fighting for medical integrity just as Donald Trump fights to drain the Swamp.
Dr. Zelenko is a fighter with a Brooklyn edge while at the same time fighting for all Americans and remaining respectful to God. He won’t sell out. I love it.
Dr. Zelenko has done dozens of interviews and consultations with notable people including the President of Brazil, Israel’s PM Netanyahu, many other world leaders, and several guest appearances with President Trump’s lawyer and longtime confidant Rudy Giuliani who Dr. Zelenko calls “Mr. Mayor”.
Dr. Zelenko has spent this year solving the treatment puzzle of the coronavirus SARS-COV-2 and its disease state COVID-19 in the lungs. But he has a lung problem of his own.
In very recent years he was diagnosed with a very rare and always fatal lung disease which resulted in removing one of his lungs and for which he still is being treated.
That he has survived such a fatal disease prompted him in an interview with Rabbi Katzin to question why God had spared him.
To believers I think the answer is clear. He was selected by God to be to the coronavirus what Donald Trump is to the Swamp.

Good information.
Budesonide is a steroid with relatively low toxicity, much safe than other gluco-steroids. It is used for pregnant women and children.
At this point I believe only the nasal spray is available OTC.

Do you happen to know what kind of difference there is between prescription and what this Dr uses in terms of delivery method? Like 100 times more effective because it shoots it in further or whatever. I dont know anything about it because never use any of it.
I only did a quick search. One thing I saw was that the OTC would be same strength when moved over. IIRC, Rhinocort????
But obviously delivery method will make a difference
He did leave but not without a lot of heartbreak.
The back story is early in the pandemic he pushed the town’s medical administrator to get the town’s administrator to close the schools and synagogues. He was rebuffed and the result was 14 people in the community died of COVID-19 and he blamed them for these deaths.
MDs butting heads with medical administrators is commonplace in the medical community. Health administrators more often treat MDs like hired help rather than as medical authorities. Health administrators focus on the bottom line, MDs focus as they should on health. MDs carry liability, health administrators do not.
In his interview (w/Pinsky) I believe he says he’s also head of EMO, if I heard him, correctly.
And, he still refers to his community as ‘his’ community.
Not sure what is up.

He said he was leaving his practice in Kiryas Joel. I believe he still practices in NYC.
