It hasn't been ignored, it's rather obvious. So?
Not so obvious.
They don't ever mention the rules or math, and how that was created. It's all a big bang and how the universe simply expanded from a singularity to what we have now. Simple indeed, and obvious. Before the big bang, the rules needed to exist. And then, magically, the stuff of the universe came into being, from nothing and without any rules.
Obvious, indeed!

If the other universe has time running in reverse, I don't think I would want to be there as the "Cat" so eloquently proved to us in the Red Dwarf "Backwards" episode...

Awful lot of scientific consensus has been thrown in the trash.
Pseudo science, conjecture based on anecdotal evidence, phenomenon and often wild eyed hatred for anything Godly results in billions of years, but rational observational scientific processes support a young earth and a creative genius. Nothing happens , only intelligence can be attributed to reality.
But, hey, for 150 years now, Lyell has been separating Moses from geology and now that body of “science” is a circular sideshow that supposed rock is ancient when evidence based observation clearly shows that rock forms in just a few years( MT st Helens) and gorges cut through that rock in short time by mass wasting processes before observers eyes.
But hey, peers won’t touch those recent examples of processes reputed to take gazillions of years...
Anyway. Regards

This concept shows up in this novel:
Our universe is governed by natural laws. The other universe is governed by The Book of Rules. All barbarians are tall, muscled and have long hair. All beautiful maidens must wear as little clothes as possible etc...

If there is a twin universe can we use it for storage?

Lol. Im not doing the work for you but I’ll give a hint or two. Predicted abundance of light elements from big bang theory are off by magnitudes by obsevation. Hint 2. Not enough antimatter.

BTW, I dont believe in the big bang theory. Something much more logical created the WHOLE universe.Excuse me but the First Chapter of Genesis is the description of The Big Bang. Our whole existence is linear. Everything we can conceive is from beginning to end. The Big Bang says nothing existed before it so how did our universe suddenly spring into being? That spark that caused The Big Bang was God.
Genesis 1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
The Big Bang was the brightest flash of light that ever existed. You could say it was God like.
I dare you to tell me that Science could never prove the existence of God, because Science already did.

Try to send a rocket there. If it crashes into an identical rocket, the answer is yes.

That 'something much more logical' which I mentioned, is God!
What could be more logical than God?
Perhaps you need to learn to read between the lines? ;)
And, I'm with you, since there is no science or scientist who/which can disprove the existence of God. But, there will be those who will say that, you can't prove/disprove a negative or that which can't be seen/touched/felt/tasted/heard, organically.
I see 'creation' in everything around me.
The big bang??? Nope! Didn't happen the way that astrophysicists think or believe or theorize. Linear? Perhaps, but, when things are 'created', they don't necessarily follow the linear 'logic'. We are not capable of understanding how the 'creator' works; we don't have the intelligence enough to go there. So, unless our intelligence is increased tremendously, we'll always be wondering about how things started. No amount of reverse engineering of the universe is going to tell us how it all began or why.
