Only a handful right now, but I’ve seen folks simply refusing to wear a mask. Remember Hillary said dissent was patriotic.

Make your mask from a single thickness of cheesecloth. Easy to breathe through, and about as effective as most masks out there.
Cut a sleeve off an old thin worn-out T-shirt you are going to cut off for rags.
Stretch it out, it will fit as a mask. Like breathing through gossamer.

There are no specs for what a “mask” is. Tape a small piece of paper above your upper lip and call it your mask.
I have no problem with a private enterprise’s freedom to do whatever they want with their business. The voluntary cooperation between buyers and sellers in the marketplace FREE from government interference weeds out stupidity in its free and open competition. Free individuals and free enterprise have the right to do whatever they want and WE ALL win accordingly.
It’s the GOVERNMENT that is the problem. When the government - ex. NM Governor who says you have to wear masks wherever you go - that’s the overreach and tyranny that must be stood against.
Wear a mask to enter the store. Then remove it. If the edict or sign only says you have to have it to enter...

I try to enter stores without. I have found some locals who don’t bug me.
If asked I put one on and don’t fight. I don’t blame the employees for doing as they’re told.
I remove when I am done paying. What are they going to do, ask me to leave? I’m already leaving.
I use a cloth gaiter as I find the paper masks filthy and ugly and more dehumanizing.
we have mandatory mask requirements in Phoenix, I ignore it and no-one says anything to me. I’m not a large or intimidating looking guy, I suspect most people wearing them are doing so under protest
Just wear the mask. It’s not a big deal.
