The inhaled steroid Budesonide is being hailed by one West Texas doctor, Richard Bartlett, as the 'silver bullet' for COVID-19.
Midland Memorial Hospital seems to disagree with him, telling us Tuesday that there is no such thing a 'silver bullet' for the virus.
But Bartletts patients credit the treatment for saving their life. He has treated well over a dozen patients and has had a 100% success rate.
Even with patients who have preexisting conditions.
Im in my 60s, Im living with two different types of non-hodgkin's lymphoma," Kathy Lollar, Dr. Bartlett's patient and COVID-19 survivor, said. "In fact Im on daily chemo.
Lollar is one of many at-risk patients Bartlett has treated.
Im 48-years-old, Im diabetic and Im a bit overweight," Eric Rodriguez, another one of Dr Bartlett's patients and also a COVID-19 survivor, said.
When they were diagnosed with the virus, they both thought the worst-case scenario.
I was scared, fearful, desperate," Rodriguez said. "I starting thinking about my children without a father.
Rodriguez lost his 31-year-old brother, who had no preexisting conditions, to the virus in June. For that reason, Rodriguez sought a different treatment and reached out to Dr. Bartlett for help.
He started taking Budesonide twice a day.

Could be BS. But the spectacle of one medical authority freaking out over a “not invented here” cure is all too common.
I dont believe in silver bullets either.
If it can help a majority of patients then go for it.
But don’t say “silver bullet”
Sounds like a bad 3am commercial
Who knows more, a practicing physician or a bureaucrat physician?
Who knows more, almost any person or a journalist?
Hmmm, the bureaucrats & the journalists lose.
Every time.
And, as has been the case, Trump wins too.
Ain’t science wunnerful?
spot on....
...pray for Dr. Barlett
Please detail how it works.
Media shaming of Budesonide, those who prescribe it and those who use it begins in 3, ... 2, ... 1
Dr. Bartlett says COVID-19 starts in the respiratory system but then triggers a severe inflammatory process, called Cytokine Storms, that eventually leads to multi-organ failure and death.
But the inhaled steroid helps to prevent that inflammation.
Its like putting out a fire at the base of the fire,” Bartlett said. “Im having patients recover quickly.

When I had Covid symptoms, which included tightness in my upper chest, I also used a nebulizer - but with a product called Respiratory Relief. (can buy on Amazon)
I used one ounce, three times a day for two days. Symptom eliminated.
Covid gone with the rest of my protocol in 2.5 days.
I now have covid antibodies.
Your mileage may vary...
Perhaps if we knew and understood the manner and extent to which the Midland Hospital is being compensated for each Covid-19 patient in their care, than maybe, just maybe, we would pay more attention to what the good physician is telling us.
I read that Modified Citrus Pectin works the same way.
My only issue with this guy is the small numbers of cases. His rationale seems reasonable.
Midland Memorial is the sorriest excuse for a hospital as exists in the USA.
I know personally they purchased a competitor (for a tidy sum) to shut it down to raise prices.
that is peppermint oil and some sort of silver
Yes, essentially, which opens airways and kills bacteria and viruses on contact as breathed in.
Do you know your blood type?
anyone know what happened to the guy who held rallies and wouldnt wear a mask. someone here knew him and went to his rallies.
