I won’t wear the Mask of the Beast in the assembly of the Most High. I won’t attend a church that does.
You’re a Deep State cheerleader, aren’t you? Come and MAKE US wear the mask at church. You ain’t got the stones, you cowardly stooge. Stay home.
If this crap is so reasonable, then why didn’t they do it when you’re Obama was President? Why didn’t they do it during swine flu?
They'd been through a lot of religious strife, with different states being formed on the basis of allowing a particular religion that was outlawed elsewhere.
Lucky for us they took it so seriously and thought rightly about it. We take it for granted now.
Tell me about it. Our Novus Ordo mass is like that. Went to an undisclosed location Latin Mass this weekend and they were having none of that mask obama.
There was a study done of hospitalized covid patients at Mount Sinai after they had left the hospital, and almost half had permanent kidney problems.
This is a sneaky goldarn vicious disease.
I’m repeating myself to faithful FR readers, but the pandemic doubled in the first six months, and then doubled again in the next six weeks. Keep up your patriotism but don’t let it harm you or your family, or others.
Thats awesome. I wouldnt mind a drive up communion but they havent done that. A way for confession would be nice too.
“My Lord you are pathetic”
Arrow - you are so right. If I were as pessimistic as Okey is I’d just kill myself. That’s not living.
“the story about the preacher who insisted on having church services with no distancing, etc. the next week he was dead.”
Since May we’ve had regular church services with no distancing and no masks. I guess our minister is really weird cause HE’S NOT DEAD. Nobody is dead in our church, and Pastor announced that as far as he knows, there’s not even one case among the congregation.
“Such a snarky unwarranted thing to say.”
At least Okey didn’t describe images of arms crossed in caskets, which he does sometimes. That’s always fun. ;)
“Youre a Deep State cheerleader, arent you?”
That’s interesting. It occurred to me that some of the people posting signed up a while ago and then just “laid low”. Maybe they’re sleepers to be called to action pre-election. Several whack jobs began to post around the same time.

Thanks for the suggestion. Ill take it under consideration, even though you entirely missed my point.
Was reviewing my article to see where I said I was persecuted.
“My Lord you are pathetic”
Thank you. Beat me to it.
Very low risk of landing in ICU on ventilator. No way worth the shut downs.
the shaking hands was never part of the mass until the stupid 60s.
Im sure the families and loved ones of the 177,000 dead people appreciate your cynical comments.
“Applying hot tar to someone caused severe burns and even death.”
“But in the eighteenth century tar meant pine tar, used for several purposes in building and maintaining ships. As any baseball fan knows, pine tar doesnt have to be very hot to be sticky. Shipyards did warm that tar to make it flow more easily, but pine tar starts to melt at about 140°F (60°C). Thats well above the ideal for bathwater, but far from the temperature of hot asphalt.
Pine tar could be hot enough to injure someone. The Loyalist judge Peter Oliver complained that when a mob attacked Dr. Abner Beebe of Connecticut, hot Pitch was poured upon him, which blistered his Skin.[i] But other victims of tarring and feathering didnt mention severe or lasting burns among their injuries. Rioters probably applied the tar with a mop or brush, lowering its temperature....
...Tarring and feathering undoubtedly caused pain and a lot of discomfort and inconvenience. But above all it was supposed to be embarrassing for the victim. Mobs performed the act in public as a humiliation and a warningto the victim and anyone elsenot to arouse the community again. There are no examples of people in Revolutionary America dying from being tarred and feathered.”

Pretty much the entire public (me included) immediately surrendered our liberties without hardly a thought. The government said it is against the law to keep a bowling alley open for business. We just went along. Pretty scary looking back four months ago. Lots of lessons about Liberty are being learned over Covid.
