By most objective standards and metrics, the United States is the least racist among the advanced countries of the world. Yet racism has been made into the foremost boogeyman in America of the 21st century. Why?
The short answer is that exaggerating the problem of racism is an absolute necessity for many. Racism is the wind under the wings of Marxists in their flight to Utopia, while at the same time, it is useful for the liberal establishment in maintaining its hold on power. The race card is also the glue holding the Democrat coalition together. The two groups that the current obsession on racism hurts are the white middle class and, ironically, black and Hispanic minorities themselves.
As for the liberal establishment, it has been fundamental in fomenting a "cancel culture." To be called a racist, even when unfounded, has cost people their employment and careers. Just the accusation can be enough to exclude a person from the public square. Liberals hurl charges of racism against anyone who disagrees with them as a way to bully the opposition into silence.
The greatest enemies the liberals see are the populists. They're the ones who had the temerity to notice the glaring failures of the elite in both domestic and foreign matters and who elected Donald Trump. To defuse this threat to their power and privileges, the establishment uses racism to take the focus off their failures while at the same time tarring the opposition as racists. This is why prevalence of racism and its danger are so exaggerated throughout every aspect of society.

If you are not oppressed then you are an oppressor. If you are not racially discriminated against then you are a racist.

Selecting a minority, then pushing all the woes of society as it exists in the particular venue upon their backs, is called scapegoating. All command-and-control regimes use this strategy to keep the workers/soldiers under discipline, as the underclass is persecuted and harried, giving the otherwise idle workers/soldiers something to do besides foment resistance to the ruling oligarchy.
This psyches up the soldiers to attack neighboring countries, and sets the workers into a regimen that includes toil, privation, and hardship of every kind, where it is tacitly acknowledged that to fail is to be demoted to the persecuted underclass.
Fear and intimidation work every time they are applied. Until they don’t any more.
The dems have used and abused the black race for years.. and the black race kept voting dem... so they didn’t mind I guess...today they are blaming everyone but the dem party. The dem party could have given them good schools.. adequate and modern housing... and jobs.... COULD have!
wisdom is a good thing to have.. plus discernment.. and stop with the dem party voting!
Daniel Patrick Moynihan idebtintified the cause of Black lack of social and economic success back in yjr 60’s with his treatise on the collapse of the “Negro” family. Lyndon Johnson bought in and had a commission to study ways to correct it. Instead the race hustlers reacted with you can’t blame the vistim clamor and the effort was changed to the Great Society legislation whicn effectively continued the destruction by subsidizing black single motherhood, which also was deified by frminism and the “Murphy Brown” furor.
Now the black elites like Toni Morrison and Isabel Wikerson tour the “systemic racism” idea and it gets accepted by the guilty white intelligensia. So now it is the accepted excuse for the lack of native block social development in the face of success by more recent minorities. Even recent black immigrants are more successful and legacy black single parenthood is pushing 80% and white single motherhood is where the Negro number was in Moynihan’s reportin the 60’s.
Not only have we made it worse but we have infected the white population and there are now mow fatherless whites than blacks. Might help if LeBron started pointing his finger at the NBA practice of players fathering kids by multiple women. Bibby has 15 by 15 different mothers and 9 others are in the same league.
We need to stop making excuses and address the real problem of fatherless children. Boys shoot each other and loot while the girls have babies and collect the loot.
It is their moral justification for taking power, “making things fair for the oppressed groups”.
I agree with the author on the problem.
What’s missing, though is, what does our side di about it. How do we effectively fight back and squash the bastards?
They’ve got us surrounded everywhere. They own all the institutions, from education, to media, to entertainment, sports,churches, the military and now the police. If some thug is ribbing your store or house, calling the police is now considered racist.
More than anything, in most people’s eyes, (the useful idiots) they’ve captured the high moral ground. They are for justice for the oppressed, you see. And by justice they mean equality - equality of results by any means.
This is a philosophy that left on its own will utterly fail in the long run, but it will cause untold misery between now and then. We need to find a way to destroy them now to avoid the coming misery.
