Places with highest daily reported cases per capita
Seven-day average of daily new reported cases per 100,000 residents
Take a closer look at the Wisconsin numbers here:
https://bi.wisconsin.gov/t/DHS/views/Agegroupovertime/Cases?
What do you notice? That 100% of the increase is from the age group 18-24. Every other age group is dropping, and has been since mid-July.
What is unique about the age group 18-24? Could it be they have just started college, and were required to get a test to attend?
Without the 18-24 year olds, the plot would have continued down the trajectory it already was.
Good eyeball on that one.
Without everyone, wed be at zero.
The only thing I can see is that they’re getting tested as a condition of their attendance.
