Didn’t feel a thing here in New Mexico. :)
My hometown. :) Called my parents and dad actually woke up for this one. He usually sleeps right through them.
Kinda like living in the snowbelt means the roads will likely be slippery often.
Family memeber in Florida said the problem in Florida with the few times it snows is the natives haven’t a clue how to drive in it. Therfore lots of accidents when it does snow.
“Trumps fault”.
San Andreas’ fault.
;)
Nothing on the east coast of Michigan either! Frigging cold though (30°).

Our pets have in the past cowered and hid right before an earthquake.
The cause is obvious: Hell was welcoming RBG as a resident.
..it looks like not too far from the epicenter of the ‘87 Whittier quake —which we lived through...
not strong enuff
I think it was a warning, a precursor. I think a much bigger one is coming.
Was in 1971 Sylmar Quake (San Fernando), lived in Sierra Madre at the time. Back door flew open and saw the ground literally rolling in huge waves. Dad saved the goldfish.
Few days before, our pet Desert Tortoise, “Warty”, went walkabout and all the cats in the neighborhood disappeared. Our Brittany Spaniel “Lady” was acting weird too. Think she tried to bite me when she started hiding under the bed.
They all can tell when one is about to hit; electromagnetic fluctuations, changes in rad frequencies, etc.
If you can see the mountain ranges and see blue glows/sparks at night and dust flying off the tops in the day, it’s hunkering time. Likely a sizeable temblor.
Pelosis Fault.
Blow Out induced.
Then it might’ve been an up-and-down instead of a roller. Odds of this being a pre-shock just went up. But rollers are wholly destructive as well no doubt.
Noticed weekend and early this week there were quakes 6 mag+ hitting predominantly in the Pacific Zone. So an M7+ shallow (10<mi) warning to all Patriots in California. My beloved Friends, praying for you. Lord God, station Your Holy angels around each and their precious families. Shalom and Shana Tova U’Metuka.
Learn to tolerate? Anything less than 4.0 is shaken but not stirred. 4.0 to 5.5 is an E Ticket ride. Above THAT and maybe well start getting nervous. Every Californian knows that.
I felt it.
There was a later smaller quake centered around Borrego Springs, southeastward from El Monte. I think Borrego Springs and El Monte are both on the San Gabriel fault line.
Very interesting post.
“I think it was a warning, a precursor. I think a much bigger one is coming.”
I wonder that too.
I felt it here in Cypress, Ca. Lasted maybe 5-10 seconds.
