Because Justice Ginsburg deliberately played politics on the bench, her death at 87 is an appropriate time for political commentary about her work and a successor.
Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg died Friday night after 27 years on the United States Supreme Court. I’m ignoring the Romans warning de mortuis nil nisi bonum (of the dead, say nothing but good). Ginsburg used her seat on the Supreme Court as a political office and, reputedly, her dying wish was political. The politicization of her Supreme Court seat and the political fallout from her death are, therefore, appropriate topics.
Unlike me, the usual leftists who loved her too much (as well as a few Republicans who ought to know better) think that the best encomium for Ginsburg is that she “fought” for “justice and equality”:
That praise -- that she “fought” for “justice and equality” -- sums up everything that was wrong with Ginsburg for it describes a political activist, not a judge. The Supreme Court is supposed to consist of nine people who try, apolitically, to ensure that the United States is run along constitutional lines.
Ginsburg, though, had little love for the Constitution. She was quite open about that in 2012 when she offered some “helpful” advice to the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt as it was contemplating the Egyptian Constitution of 2012:
“I would not look to the U.S. Constitution, if I were drafting a constitution in the year 2012,” Ginsburg said in an interview on Al Hayat television last Wednesday. “I might look at the constitution of South Africa. That was a deliberate attempt to have a fundamental instrument of government that embraced basic human rights, have an independent judiciary. It really is, I think, a great piece of work that was done.”

Justice Ginsburg’s written wish to have her seat left vacant until January of 2021 is swamp gas for the swamp dwellers. Like Ted Kennedy’s death, this is a case of LEFTists holding onto personal power by their fingernails and thus endangering their own causes! When it was clear that Death was in their shadow, they could have resigned and allowed the political process to work in open daylight.
Kennedy’s death made the Massachusetts Legislature reverse the very same law that it passed to put him into office, all to keep Mitt Romney from voting and killing Obamacare. Justice Ginsburg could have bowed out 5 years ago when it was clear her life was ending by this scourge of cancer. Then President Obama, in 2015, had a chance for an idealogical replacement. THIS WAS HER DECISION, THE BLAME IS HERS.
Ginsberg was a monster, and was responsible for the deaths of millions of infants in the womb and some outside it.
All you have to do is look at photos of aborted fetuses to see what Ginsberg was, a destroyer of the black community, a larger proportion of the dead children does not exist outside of the African American community.
She therefore is responsible for black genocide as a matter of fact.
May she rot in eternal hell for her genocide of millions of children.
John Roberts insisted there’s no left or right among judges, but RBG’s “last request” suggests he was a liar. Because nobody’s that stupid.

PLEASE take this to heart when deciding whether to ‘make a statement’ or ‘teach the GOP a lesson’ by not voting in November. The Dems DO NOT CARE how they achieve power (and if some Useful Idiots on our side help them, so be it), they only care that THEY GET POWER. And if they do get full power, they will NEVER relinquish it, at least in the lifetimes of most of us. That should be clear by both who they are and what they ALREADY are saying about how they’ll govern, not to mention their use of rioting and violence as a political tool.
We can work on fixing/punishing the GOP, but only AFTER this mob calling themselves Democrats is put out to pasture, once and for all.
Actually, I’m not sure why anyone should get too lathered up on their side of the aisle...sooner or later the ‘rats will make alterations to the court, letting it out to a size 12.
