However, the body needs 1,000 mg to 1,500 mg of cholesterol a day, and if you dont get it from food, your body has to make it.

This is debunked, or at least not supported by evidence. It’s the carbs that kill.

Do note that your body does not need all 1,000 mg - 1,500 mg at once, in a meal, though.
It is needed throughout the day, evenly distributed.

Egg consumption does not raise cholesterol by itself. Old info. I do not work for the Egg Council.

Ingested cholesterol is not the same as serum cholesterol.

I eat 4 - 6 eggs per week cooked in good Irish butter. A pound lasts months in my freezer. Cholesterol is fine. Get beautiful eggs from Trader Joe and just discovered even better eggs from Amish/Mennonite farms in Eastern WA. Important to me that chickens are not caged. Not a big fan of cruelty.

"Ingested cholesterol is not the same as serum cholesterol." Correct. And even total serum cholesterol is a meaningless number.
Cholesterol is not a cause of heart disease. Plaques are a symptom. Inflammation is the cause. Inflammation is not triggered by eating cholesterol or fat.

LOL! From that Prevention article:
So just how much cholesterol can you eat without raising your blood cholesterol levels? Well, theoretically, quite a bit”I accept these recommendations,” says Nissen, who was not on the committee. “The statement that ‘cholesterol is not a nutrient of concern’ suggests no major worry for the average person.”
That is a very funny way to put it.
The plaques that line our arteries are not just cholesterol, which is a small portion, anyway. It is mast cells gone crazy, cell debris, antibodies, etc., as well.
