Cleopatra was also known to be only average in attractiveness. The most powerful men in the world desired her for her intelligence and political savy, of all things. She was the kind of woman you could rule the world with.

Cleopatra wasn’t a Pharaoh —she was “The Living Isis” as for Making it with Romans—think of her as the Ancient World’s Kamala Harris. She wanted to blend Egyptian and Roman cultures to rule the world—almost did it too.
