If you’re old enough to remember Art Fleming, you’re old.
*********************************

My parents were friends with him and his wife. He also died of pancreatic cancer, just a couple of weeks after he was diagnosed. Oddly enough, my father died of it too.

He was a man who knew everything. He had a radio show that was called something like, Stump Art Fleming. He had an undefeated record.

“Jeopardy” was a daytime show, on at... noon(?) EST. I remember watching it at work. Wherever I worked. Can’t remember.

I enjoy the original versions of most of the current game shows. Bill Cullen’s “The Price is Right” is far superior to the jumping, shouting, screaming version of today.

But everything was better in the 1950’s.

****sigh****
