I have to deal with this crap once a year because my wife always makes it...
I know folks like it but cabbage is nasty enough, let alone cabbage that has been fermented.

Not sure I’d like that.
But outside MD crabs, sauerkraut itself with our family sausage meatballs is my favorite food. God I love good tart sauerkraut. It’s the German in me.

"Owner Adam Brackbill said the flavor leaves customers pleasantly surprised." I get how this works. One time I was making chicken curry and realized I was out of vanilla beans, so I used vanilla extract. I way overestimated the amount and instead of getting just the slightest hint of vanilla that I wanted, there was a very strong essence left in the sauce.
While it wasn't exactly the way I like my curry, I had to admit that the flavors really complimented one another, so the next time I had vanilla ice cream, I decided to sprinkle some curry powder on it...and I've been eating it that way ever since. Sounds bizarre, but it definitely falls into the category of, "Don't knock it, 'til you've tried it!"

I’ll bet it’s good! An ice cream shop in my home town, Jersey Junction, offered dill pickle ice cream in the 60s. It was delish!
