Dear Friends,
as some of you will know: my twin brother Thomas has been dangerously ill for many days with COVID.
I posted a prayer thread, and you were very generous with your prayers. Thank you!
Well now to this current thread.
Tom has been on an intubator for a week. Today they drained his lungs and discovered lung scarring (fibrosis).
They have taken him off intubation to see if he can breath without it. They put him onto an oxygen pressure mask.
His O2 sats went down. They moved him to a ventilator: his oxygen seemed promising on the ventilator but then started going down again.
His kidneys started failing so they started dialysis. This started improving his oxygen count and kidney count.
The problem now is that his lungs are not doing the normal carbon dioxide processing.
We have discussed his treatments with nurses and they have all been completely routine.
His body does not seem to be responding despite the extra help. They will keep him on them as long as he responds. However his heart could stop at any minute.
He’s currently still alive but it will be hour by hour.
So of your charity - dear FRiends - please pray that Tom will be healed. Please also pray for his immortal soul.
May he and his family be blessed with your presence. May he breathe sweet air again, and with great joy.
If this cannot be, may he draw in the sweet air of heaven in the presence of God. May he see the beatific vision and be glad.

I’m sorry for your brother but oxygen pressure mask fills lung cell brakes the capillaries. Doctors have raised the O2 level rather then adding pressure this has been the standered around April.
I am praying for your brother now. And will keep him in my prayers.

Heavenly Father, We praise Your Holy Name and come corporately before You in the Precious Name of Your Son Jesus asking for healing for agere_contra’s twin brother Tom. Clear his lungs, breathe life into his body. Please remove the COVID virus. If he doesn’t know You as Lord and Savior let this be the time of his Salvation and any other family members. We pray for hope and comfort for family members. You are in control of all things, Father God. Thank You for hearing our prayers. In the Name of Jesus, Amen
this may not be an option for him in his condition but ask about the RotoProne bed...
my family is instructed to get me one (rental) if possible even if insurance doesn’t pay for it.
i am planning ahead for the worst case scenario.
