What does it matter anymore
Pretty much doesn’t. We’ll have President Biden soon enough, and then the henchmen running the activities behind the scenes will start going after patriots one by one. It is about to get brutal for the lives of half the country.
Indeed. In a functioning republic, the laws are the social contract. Specifically, the Constitution is our social contract. Every state is guaranteed a republican form of government. Meaning: the laws shall be followed.
Well, that train left the station.
No more social contract. No more compelling reason to cohere as a federation of the 50 separate states. I think we’re heading toward The Second Republic of the United States, and I think it will be a smaller country.
The U.K. did not surrender after Dunkirk and the U.S. did not surrender after Pearl Harbor.
I agree with you. The Democrats don’t care about the law and neither do a bunch of cowardly Republicans like Pence.
“What does it matter anymore”
It matters, because it’s another step in the decline of the rule of law. Big city mayors started that. Crooked state governments started that. Republicans did not start that. It amazes me that Democrats are now all gung-ho about the “rule of law” that they themselves destroyed.
