I’ve read the State Constitution and the Treaty the admitted Texas. I didn’t see anything about secession.

If that were the case, Texas would have stayed out of the Union after the Civil War.

You would be incorrect. Texas is bound by the same Constitution as the other states are, and has no more or any less powers under it.
