Very Fishy
And Subway is garbage
Made me laugh out loud.
And ew.
Next thing you’re gonna tell me is their baloney sub isn’t baloney.
How do you fake baloney?
I think their meatball sandwich is ok, been a few months since I’ve had one though. Everytime I’ve ordered one they’ve asked me if I wanted it toasted. No, I like my meatballs subs unheated with cold layers of cheese on top (of course I want it hot). They also seem surprised when I don’t get lettuce and tomato on it. Kids these days!
I used to work at Silver Mine Subs, a regional chain that delivers. We had several regular customers who worked in a shopping center that had a Subway. They'd rather order from us and wait for the delivery, than walk across the parking lot to Subway.
Subway’s bread may not legally be called bread in some European countries. It contains enough sugar to be defined as a baked confection. I knew something was wrong with them when I saw how they cut their “bread”. Sacrilege.
What amazing new discovery will the lawyers make next?
That the “crab meat” at Chinese buffets isn’t really crab?
Their coffee is Seattle’s Best..doesn’t same much for Seattle.
“Parts is Parts!”
It’s Subway! Even if it is real tuna, there’s still no misrepresentation that caused actual harm.
Plaintiffs can’t argue in court they thought they were going to go in there and get something worth eating. You were obviously willing to eat garbage or you wouldn’t have gone there in the first place.
Subways are owned by individual franchisees, and unlike McDonalds, there is very little central control. Some owners might well be substituting phony ingredients to cut costs, even if the head office specifies the real thing.
If you were fortunate enough to grow up in a neighborhood with a real delicatessen, the kind with meats hanging, a pickle barrel, and a aroma that smacks you in the face as you walk in, then you understand Subway is utter garbage. It begins with their cheap bread and layered with inferior ingredients that are premeasured instead of sliced onto a roll at the time you order. Nothing is authentic, just a cheap marketing rip off for people that haven’t been exposed to the real thing.
Subway used to be OK, but there are so many better choices now (even among the chains) that I’m amazed that there are still as many around as there are.
Typically businesses will pay millions of dollars to avoid the negative publicity.
I like to fly small airplanes... In the last 25 years the number of home-built and kit aircraft has more than doubled, while the number of factory built general aviation aircraft has been dwindling. Why is this when few people have the 1000 to 3000 hours or the skills necessary to build their own aircraft? Frivolous lawsuits have nearly destroyed the general aviation industry. Because of insurance and legal expenses, the cheapest new aircraft one can buy are now cost $100s of thousands of dollars.
This thing with Subway sounds funny, but it is just a scab over a festering wound covering the abuse of our once proud legal system. My elderly parents are currently being sued for $1.2 million by someone who they had hoped to sell some property to. A twice convicted scam artist made a deposit and then never paid them another dime before starting to build a house on their property several years later. It is an almost indescribable nightmare for them. They pay more than what the deposit was every year in property taxes. They have not been able to sell the property to anyone else because of the pending litigation and now are in severe financial hardship. The person is a twice You would think that the
