Ever think the NWO just said let’s call the flu covid and claim every old person who died had it. If we were stupid enough to believe that, they figured we’re stupid enough to believe Biden had 80 million votes.
Maybe - or maybe COVID mitigations have thoroughly suppressed the spread of that 'other' virus.
I heard a similar “report” on the drive in to work this morning. They are claiming Kung Flu cases are down but there was a major increase of seasonal influenza.

Heard guy on TV say it was because we are all taking extra precautions, like wearing masks, staying home, washing hands, social distancing and using hand sanitizer and gloves that the normal flu virus is way down................

Yeah, I’m still sad about that. That’ll take a while to get over.
The only 2 times I have had the flu are the 2 years I got the flu shot. Maybe with millions of people not getting flu shots, nobody is getting the flu.
It would be impossible to have those numbers. If we are able to spread the rona, the flu can be transmitted.
I’m not so sure about that considering how many people put off going to doctors or into hospitals for scans and cancer treatments. I’ll lay odds that we’ll see deaths from cancer rise in the coming months due to those delays. It’s my opinion that the CDC will massage the numbers.
My wife makes me wash my hands immediately after coming in from work, the store, wherever, take off my shoes and leave them on the porch.

I agree that wearing masks and gloves has lowered Influenza rates; what I’d like to know is how large an organism is the CCP-19 virus vs. the annual Swine Flu in order to explain the difference in infection rates.
This is weekly data, not annual data. At the CDC link, scroll down to the interactive "ILI Activity Map" and look around through the years, week by week. Over the past 12 years, February is usually a high flu month. Except in 2010, 2012 and 2014 it was relatively low compared to other years. For last year, deaths in the U.S. are estimated at over 3 million, up over 300,000 from 2019.
Between natural variation in flu seasons and Covid-19, many people who would have the flu now already died from Covid-19.

We test fo flu all the time at work. Every day. Multiple times.

The reported numbers are consistent with the hypothesis that COVID is much more transmissible than the flu.
