The progressives over a century ago set about to install a programme which would ensure that Americans would not know anything about American history in general and the Founding Fathers in particular. In the 21st century we see the tree that they planted bearing poisonous fruit in abundance.
By destroying our history, progressives have eliminated the ability for conservative story tellers to tell these stories and keep the historical record intact. This naturally allows the lie to carry the day because it is unopposed. That is why free and open source audiobooks are so important, especially as more of then can be established. We must restore the ability of conservative story tellers and that requires knowledge. Free knowledge that is full and complete in un-quoted form.
To that end, I wanted to highlight what I believe are three great examples of Founders who like most around them, were standing on the correct side of history. Note that I am only highlighting the what and the who, I am not going to highlight the "why" for now because I think that could be instructive.
Here goes. To demonstrate the falseness of the progressive slavery narrative, the three Founders I would choose would be:
* John Hancock
* Samuel Adams
* John Jay
I think Henry Laurens is another good demonstration of the power of storytelling as well. Sure, there are those like Benjamin Franklin who could be cited in this but that's too easy. We aren't going to get traction if all we can do is find time to take the lazy easy route. We need to know what the progressives don't want us to know and we must know it in full detail and abundance. Relying solely on quotes is a sort of self-assassination of the Founders by our own hands.
I would like to highlight this. All three of the Founders I chose are Founders who have been erased. The use of this grants a natural strategic advantage. All of the progressive propaganda surrounds guys like Jefferson and Washington and by rebuilding the many we can save the remaining few.
You shouldn't quote on this issue, as quoting is akin to surrender. We desperately need thoughtful storytelling.

I appreciate your thoughts, but we live in a fact-free world. To keep thinking we can counter emotional ignorance with facts about long-dead, “old, white men” is the definition of insanity.

The progressives taught us all this lie in their government schools over the decades and I’m sick of seeing this kind of sentiment on conservative websites.
Its not true. It was not a “given” that it was “ok” by everybody.

I think Mason owned slaves though.
Clearly, Democrats owned more slaves than Republicans ever did. That should shut down the argument, but Democrats will find something else to argue about.
Really study the USConstitution. It is an anti Slavery document.

I’m not asking you to share that story and go into details, BTW, I’m just curious which story it was. Though it would be more useful to be shared and, in particular, not quoted.
If we readily acknowledge that those around us are unfamiliar(and we know they are), then quoting does more harm than good.
Mason is actually a much better example than meets the eye, if a good storyteller could carry through with recall of the events.
The reason why I keep going back to storytelling is that we know the government schools don’t teach much useful knowledge.
That leaves us to be the teachers. Good teachers aren’t quoters, they tell the story. Or if they do quote, they quote after the story. A simple example is this:
Quote a movie line to someone who hasn’t seen the movie, and watch them struggle with it or not get the joke; etc. This is much worse with the Founders who have been propagandized to no end.

Not true. There were many of the FF who were vehemently against slavery and wanted that addressed in the founding documents. They finally gave in to the others on that issue in order to get an official document signed.
If that were going to work, it would’ve worked already. The “easy solution” is always deceptive and the last several decades are unequivocal proof.
This argument can’t be shut down or avoided, it needs to be won. There’s no alternative unless you are accepting of surrender.
“The founders are x, because of x” - “That’s not what the historical record states, because (tell the story)”
That will make them shout louder.
“THE FOUNDERS WERE RACISTS!” - “I just told the story, what you’re saying isn’t accurate.”
What we forget is that the “shouter” isn’t the target, it’s the bystanders. The bystanders are who need to hear the stories.
They’ve never heard these stories. That’s why the quotes don’t work.
