MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — The Osseo Gun Club & Pro Shop has released an apology and says it has taken corrective action after the shop sent out an email promoting gun magazines for “your trip to the hood.”
The gun club says the email, which reportedly said “we have 30 rnd mags for your trip to the hood,” was inadvertently sent out without the shop’s approval.
“This email was completely unacceptable and goes against our core principles. Once we became aware of the situation we took immediate corrective action with the employee and revised the email,” Chris Williamson of the Osseo Gun Club said. “This has deeply upset me since I take pride in welcoming diversity in our society and being raised that all people-from all walks of life are equal no matter someone’s background.”

You dont need 30 rounds. From what Ive seen, most hood rats scatter after the first 10 shots. A standard 17rd mag is enough. But bring a spare.
Some of those large magazines are said to be less reliable. Stick with what works 100%.
If I wandered into the wrong neighborhood in Philly, I’d want a 30 round magazine.

You cant just take ONE 30-round magazine to the hood.
Don’t need 30 rnd mags in the inner cities. Post pictures of work boots and tools and they’ll run away.

I am of two minds on this. On the one hand, as a personal matter, I have tried to never insult or belittle anyone. You never know who you might need to influence at a latter date to your side. Besides, what is the point? On the flip side of that, humor is so different between people and misunderstandings so common, that you can’t possibly, even with the best intentions, go through life without making some people feel insulted, belittled or attacked. You have zero control over how people feel.
On the other hand, it’s suicide to apologize today. You can’t possibly do it because an apology can’t be accepted by the left. They must always demand more. There is no grace. No forgive and forget. To apologize is to fall down before hungry wolves. You are going to die.
And, on another hand...we’re up to three hands already...this is an organization that will be damaged when others feel they must disassociate from them. Damned if you don’t. Damned if you do. Just damned.
Whoever complained probably shouldn’t be in the Gun Club anyway.
