Simba the Goldendoodle Survives Fall Off 200-Foot Cliff

Simba’s happy place is in the car on the way to a campsite.

On Good Friday, the goldendoodle and his human parents went to Oak Creek Canyon.

Ruth and Wesley Wallace got out of the car to enjoy the view of the vista. Simba was out running with joy. “Simba came from Ruth, full blast right up to me and jumped, and then cleared the rock wall and cleared all the cliff,” the dog’s owner Wesley Wallace said with a chuckle.

They’re extremely lucky Simba didn’t end up as a heap of broken bones and ruptured insides. Next time, keep him on a secure leash.

There are any number of Warner Brothers cartoons running theough my head right now after reading that.
Specifically the ones where Wile E. Coyote runs off the cliff and hangs in midair until he looks down.

goldendoodle and his human parents

Notice the insane frame change from owners to "parents".

Pure anthropomorphism.

Animals are not people.

The left wants to blur the line, all the time.

It is an attack on the Christian world view.

I saw a bumper sticker that said something about the car owners “granddog” I wanted to puke.

It’s a pet. An animal whose loyalty ends at the first missed meal.

That said, the story reminded me of an episode of Hill Street Blues. Lt. Hunter was the EAT Team Leader (Emergency Action Team)

He was sitting at his third floor desk near an open window playing with a small dog. (I think it belonged to the Mayor or Police Commissioner) The ball bounced out the window and there goes Sparky, then you hear brakes squealing and car horns.
