Waters said she wouldn’t stay out at the protest much longer personally - but she urged everyone else to keep at it.
“I came here for one reason, just to be here, to make sure that I let my thoughts be heard among all of those who have spent so much time on the streets. And so I’m hopeful that the protests will continue,” she said.

People are going to have to organize at the local level and protect their own communities, at least in democrat run cities. Shooting someone with buckshot will probably get you 20 years, a bean bag shell might be a simple assault charge, but a lot less prison time.
In a sane world, it would be acceptable to defend yourself and your business, but we no longer live in a sane world.
I’ve been saying ever since 2014 when the michael brown shooting resulted in riots, they need to bring in the water cannons and bean bag shells. Apparently democrats are actually telling cops to stand down, so it’s going to be up to us to do it ourselves.
Fortunately I don’t think it will happen here, I’m not in a liberal run hell hole. I already talked to a cop who said he won’t try to confiscate guns, and he thinks nobody here will. My guess is they will try to stop any riots, if anything starts here. I doubt it, more likely places like Houston or Dallas.
But when Donald J. Trump cheered the energy of people lawfully coming to DC to legally demonstrate, he has been accused of "causing" "deaths" by his indirect silent dog whistle words.
