I do use a propane grill spark unit to fire..... but not injected fuel......
If I did I probably would go with acetylene.....heard good results with that.....

I used automotive fuel injectors to valve the fuel and oxygen into the chamber. For oxygen I used a standard canister from an oxy-acetelyne setup. I think I remember not liking the black smoke that came off of acetylene for whatever reason, so I built an alcohol tank out of PVC and put a tire valve on the cap. You would add your fuel, close the tank, then pressurize it via the tire valve. The fuel would then flow through the injector whenever it was open. Those were fun times!

In my misspent youth, I made a large fixed slingshot from a swing set and cut up bicycle inner tubes...Never could get the elevation needed for max range.
My grandkids received slingshots for Christmas last year, limited to shooting dried peas...
That guy is a mechanical genius and has tons of videos he has made. He’s also HUGE.........LOL!
