MINNEAPOLIS (FOX 9) - Civil rights leaders Rev. Jesse Jackson and Rev. Al Sharpton hosted a prayer Monday afternoon outside the Hennepin County Government Center.
A protest, organized by more than a dozen Twin Cities groups, is scheduled for 5 p.m. Monday after the conclusion of closing arguments in the trial of Derek Chauvin.

"Whichever way this verdict goes, we won’t stop until the law is changed."
Translation: "Either way, burn it down."
What law does he want changed?
You know, THE law.
Who knows what he’s babbling about.
First pray that you don’t get hurt or arrested while burning, looting, and committing assault. Then, go tear down the city any way you can.
Prayer or racist huddle and passing of molotov cocktails?
If the Chauvin verdict comes back not guilty...or hung jury even...it’s going to be quite entertaining for a few days.
For the business owners in cities, not so much.
Hopefully they’ll take stock of their business presentation and ask themselves if they contributed.
Nevertheless, the age of letting rioters burn what they wish will likely be over, because they are going to try to burn it all. And if the police refuse to stop it, the people will.

People in Minneapolis are basically lefties who won’t fight back.
They stood around and did nothing last summer, many of them fled to the suburbs and stayed with friends while their neighborhoods burned.

I somehow don’t think God would approve of violence like this as an obvious act of revenge.

God IS a God of love, He rewards those who follow and obey him. God also is a God of vengeance, NOT revenge. He will punish appropriately those who sin against him or disobey him.
So why pray for God to protect those that harm? Because they are hypocrites asking as blaspheme of God’s powers for their revenge. And using God for prayer for his part for this act is an insult that shows contempt, disrespect, or lack of reverence concerning a deity, a sacred object, or something considered inviolable. Some religions consider blasphemy to be a religious crime. They are asking God’s blessing for destruction and harm. They should ask God to stop what is going to happen...not bless it.

They neither know, nor fear the Living God. How horrible it will be for those who suppress the Truth in unrighteousness! They should publicly repent now and beg God for mercy. Perhaps He would forgive them. Perhaps they might escape the Wrath to come.
