In western Oklahoma we catch them, put in gunnysacks. After freezing we skin and use meat for stir fry tacos, yummy. We will sell the skins to boot makers. Western diamond backs are plentiful In the white gypsum canyons. Can catch all year long where there is warmth. Summer time sucks because it’s hot and they are fast. Lots of fun and adrenaline. Just have to watch for copperheads; they don’t warn you. Catching snakes for 35 years and never been even close to a bite.
