Kentucky Derby 2021 Lineup: Post Positions for All Entries of 147th Race
Bleacher Report ^ | 4/27/21 | Kristopher Knox

**SNIP**

This year, though, Churchill Downs has installed a new 20-spot gate in place of the previously separate 14- and six-spot gates. Hopefully for horses like Known Agenda and Like The King, inside positioning won't be as much of a hindrance in the race.

Full positioning for the 20-horse lineup is as follows:

2021 Kentucky Derby Gate Draw

1. Known Agenda 6-1
2. Like The King 50-1
3. Brooklyn Strong 50-1
4. Keepmeinmind 50-1
5. Sainthood 50-1
6. O Besos 20-1
7. Mandaloun 15-1
8. Medina Spirit 15-1
9. Hot Rod Charlie 8-1
10. Midnight Bourbon 20-1
11. Dynamic One 20-1
12. Helium 50-1
13. Hidden Stash 50-1
14. Essential Quality 2-1
15. Rock Your World 5-1
16. King Fury 20-1
17. Highly Motivated 10-1
18. Super Stock 30-1
19. Soup and Sandwich 30-1
20. Bourbonic 30-1

20 horses on the field? Seems a bit too much IMO! Could end badly for some!

Also rans Sock Puppet and Kameltoe are scratches, and the favorites Trump Won and MAGA 2024 are added.

Twenty is a normal, full field for the Derby. There likely will be some scratches prior to the race.

The old “Run for the Roasts”.

NBC is going to have steaming coverage I see.

Don’t go in the stalls until they’ve been hosed out and disinfected....like at Target.

Nothing like the traditional Mint Julep and a Loser Burger.

Losers end up on French dinner tables.

The noise!

The colors!

The naked girls in the infield!

The dirty old men with their binoculars in the stands!

A family tradition!

They put all the porta potties at one place in the infield, so the guys surrounded them and wouldn’t let the girls through until they took off their tops.

I tried this in the stands and the peanut vendor hit me right in the mouth.

They make such a big deal out of The Kentucky Derby.

It doesn’t hold a candle to The Idaho Derby!

Twenty baked potatoes racing for the sour cream!

One of the jockeys is named Bacon Bits!

The naked girls in the infield? Are you talking about horse racing or NASCAR?

That's the trifecta: Soup and Sandwich, Midnight Bourbon, and Bourbonic.

I wonder if Bourbonic wins, will a colt heir be called "Bourbonic Plague"?

We ran a little string for a while in the 70’s when they were great tax shelters. 20 horses is an abomination, they should be ashamed of themselves.

Well, there were a lot of horses......

There were guys in bright clothes.....

There were guys blowing horns.....

It was a horse race or a gay pride parade.
