Can’t wait to see the DNA results.
Right? Kinda puts that Bering Land Bridge theory to the test. Hope to hear from Randall Carlson and Graham Hancock on this.

Is that modern horse Secretariat?

If there was a horse in Nevada 6,000 - 14,000 years ago, that would be a huge find.
Something killed all of the horses in North America during that time, during the Younger Dryas.

Matt Perkins and his husband....said police and crime scene investigators showed up Monday at their home to analyze the bones. Seems like these two do a lot of bone analyzing.

Its more like hide & seek with the salami, if you catch my drift.
I live approx. 45 miles north of the SAN-FRAN-FREAK-O of the North, formerly known as Seattle, in the Peoples Republic of Washington.

if it’s a horse, 6K years ago changes horse history at bit, being that they were supposed to have gone extinct in north america 2K years earlier at the best and 18K on the other end of the estimate.

DUDE! You might have something there. This could be a great Archer-like (but not like Archer, and Jessica Walter is dead anyway -sigh) adult/teen cartoon.

Nevada Science Center Research Director Joshua Bonde said the bones are between 6,000 and 14,000 years old and are those of a horse or similar large mammal. Bonde said the area where they were found was fed by natural springs and served as a watering spot for wildlife in the arid Mohave Desert about 14,000 years ago.
