Alinski 101: Make them live up to their own book of rules.
That kind of tells you how entertaining movies will be from now on.
No humor, no imagination lest they offend...themselves.
“The Birth of a Nation”
Ah yes, Woodrow Wilson’s favorite movie.
-PJ
The Song of the South. A wise old black man teaching young White children about the culture of Africa.
Oh how racist!
Has Keertana Sastry seen Blazing Saddles?
And where did that bootleg of the uncensored Fantasia come from?
A nation of pussies deserves to fall.
Hopefully the rot, although deep, can still be excised before it becomes gangrene, for which amputation is the only treatment.
White Men Can’t Jump?
Totally don’t care. Many of these were just bad movies. That’s the only crime.
Shirley Temple tap dancing movies.
How did Deliverance not make the list?
Surprised Animal House and National Lampoon’s Vacation weren’t on the list for the scene in the black bar, and the East St. Louis scene.
“Blazing Saddles” must be ok, then.
Mel Gibson’s “Passion” racist???
The Pharisees delivered Jesus up, the Romans tortured and then killed him. Were the Romans shown as racist too? Is being historically accurate racism?
These people are fools.
Hollyweird is a business. Its’ about making money, or it has none to make other movies with, and it’s about - at any given time - what demographic groups have money to buy tickets, and that is who it seeks, or thinks it seeks, to satisfy all the time, past and present.
If Birth of Nation was racist, one can ask who - what demographic - had the most money to buy tickets at the time. One can blame Hollyweird but one can just as well often blame its audience.
I am rarely part of Hollyweird’s audience in at least the past twenty years. So, I take no blame in what they currently produce as I rarely support them.
“Blazing Saddles” not on the list?
The internet puts the world of entertainment at a person’s
fingertips. I watch a lot of foreign movies and am constantly
struck by the differences in Russian and Chinese productions
and Hollywood. Russian and Chinese movies generally portray
social solidarity between the people and the armed forces,
while Hollywood churns out violent physical confrontations,
and social disintegration. Foreign films have the military
as heros while Hollywood puts the mantle on impossible
“superheros” who themselves are flawed and who often
have a dark and twisted side.
The indoctrination of socialist norms are inserted into
every production and commercial.
Everything is now racist
