I think that, considering many of these tech giants would like to replace humans with automated systems completely and cut people out of the process, it’s not hysterical to be concerned about it.

Will the Tesla AI be able to solve this issue below?

We were visiting family in La Quinta in Southern California. Like nearby Palm Springs, it can be 110-120 degrees in the summer. Everywhere there are long, long streets, and you have to go aways to get anywhere. We witnessed a Tesla driving with ALL THE WINDOWS DOWN. It was 110 degrees outside, and this ‘wonderful’ electric car was driving very fast, with all the windows down. I finally realized what must have been happening. If they were ‘low’ on energy, they could not turn on the air conditioning. It would use up too much energy and the car would have stopped. With a gasoline powered car, one can literally ‘pour’ energy into the car by filling up with gasoline. Not so with electric cars.

Also, I did not know that fast charging shortens the lifetime of the battery. So when someone builds more and more ‘fast charging’ stations, the drivers will actually be shortening the overall life of the battery. Will the AI be programmed to issue a warning each time they plug in to ‘fast charge?’ A whole new insurance / warranty industry could develop to take into account all the ‘fast-charging’ damage.

Or….

Will there be very, very small print on the original warranty, warning that only trickle charging will continue the warranty, and any evidence of ‘fast-charging’ will automatically void the warranty? Will the AI monitor, keep track, and report all fast-charging, such history to be permanently attached to the DMV record and Vin number?

If Tesla’s self driving AI is added to a humanoid robot, then it could drive just about anything around now.
