I was born in the 50s. Grew up listening to music of the 60s. Spent my teen and early adult years in the 70s.
It was all good, but the BEST decade for music was the 1980s. AND we had Reagan.
Interestingly, stunt guitarist Steve Vai is gay.
Dave, however is not. He and his girl walked into my friends interior design shop in Birmingham, Mi. a few years back.
“ Hey Dave, way to act like a dick.”
He’s not acting.

Anyway, my point was that he equated his personal influence to that of Van Halen as a whole, which clearly is not the case.
It’s clearer when you put it that way. David Lee Roth was smart enough to know he was among great performers who could amp up a cover tune, but were not songwriters, and the covers were the way to go. The rest of the band didn’t get it and Sammy Hagar’s ego may have kept him from doing covers.
The people you wanna have overdose on drugs never would!
Like Motley Crue would never overdose man, never!
You could put them in a room with two tons of crack. They come out a half an hour later, “Rock on, man!”
“S___, they’re still alive. F___! They’re probably gonna make a double live album now, g__d___ it!”
-Dennis Leary
Arrogance... And that is why I didn’t follow him after he split from the band and went solo. But he would not be the first with a selfish irrational ego.
Yet his Wikipedia page says: "In a 2013 interview, he said he had four great loves in his life, but would not name them out of respect for their privacy. He said during the 20 years of Van Halen, he 'slept with every pretty girl with two legs.' "
So he at least implies he's hetero.
OTHO, his Wiki page also says: As of 2012, he was living in Tokyo. In 2018, Roth together with business partner and tattoo artist Ami James, created INK the Original, a full line of skincare products that protect tattooed skin. Roth spent more than 300 hours getting tattooed in Japan between 2013 and 2014, and saw the body art market expand.
If you look at James's Wiki page, he also apparently never married, though he has a child.
Are Roth and James more than merely "business" partners? What does your gaydar say about James?
I am the walrus
Didn’t he become El Roth a few years back?
The tickets back in the 1970’s were cheap
Um, no.
