A high-ranking US Army officer has resigned and given up his pension after almost 20 years of service because of what he called President Biden’s “unethical, immoral and tyrannical” vaccine mandate.
Lt. Col. Paul Douglas Hague said in a resignation letter tweeted by his wife, Katie Phipps Hague, that he was resigning from his 19-year career primarily because of the Pentagon requirement that all US military members be jabbed by mid-September.
Katie Hague said in the tweet that her hubby was “walking away from all he’s worked for and believed in since he was an ROTC kid at UGA.”
Hague, who is stationed at Fort Bragg in North Carolina, reportedly wrote in his letter: “First, and foremost, I am incapable of subjecting myself to the unlawful, unethical, immoral and tyrannical order to sit still and allow a serum to be injected into my flesh against my will and better judgment.”

It’s a shame he has to give up his pension, but maybe he was well paid and actually saved some of his earnings as we are all advised to do.
I don’t agree with vaccination mandates for diseases that have minimal impact on healthy individuals so I agree with his thinking. 19 years? Is he resigning or submitting his retirement paperwork?
I have been wondering lately, where are all the FR vaccine pushers that we have had to deal with all this time? They seem to have scurried into the shadows.
Perhaps they now see what we all saw early on, the slippery slope we were standing on. Perhaps they now realize the hell they have wrought on our great country. Or perhaps their work is done here….

Like Stalin, purging the military of disloyal officers. Those who won’t obey the vax, won’t obey in other matters.
Not to compare with this man’s sacrifice but, my youngest son has informed his Air Force Officer Recruiter he is withdrawing from his scheduled OCS class because of this Jab Mandate. My son told me he was pleaded with to reconsider. He told the JO that if the mandate is rescinded he will be happy to join the ranks of the Air Force Officer Corp. But, as long as this mandate stands he’s out.

Oodles! The other day I was cleaning out some old files and came across an old “yellow book” vaccination record from my service. I think I had that to show that I had some vaccinations needed years ago for a visa to a certain nasty third world country. The most recent vaccination in that yellow book was stamped as given at the old CIDG “hospital” in Pleiku, South Vietnam. Memories!
