My husband and I once had a huge outdoor party. As guests arrived I would take them aside and plan a short story to have fun with my hubby. The guest would tell a story leading hubby to ask the question “who was that?”. They would all answer the same name. I loved watching from a distance. Embarrassing? Maybe. Humiliating? Not really? Hilarious? Oh yeah.

I’m not a wife, but assuming that wives have more loyalty to husbands than the average chick does toward a close friend or a boyfriend. So I have tried to intervene when someone was running down a sibling (it was her ex boyfriend), a boyfriend (there is probably video of us getting banned from a nightclub because of me standing up for this guy because he didn’t want to be videoed and I knew they were going to video us and we had to carry all our stuff out with people threatening us, it sucked!), another boyfriend who was involved with a criminal gang (wow was that ever a mistake! lol I should have kicked him out back in the early 1990s oh well) and my dad, who in retrospect had done many of the bad things that people had accused him of that I had been in denial about, and so I responded improperly by trying to show loyalty toward him. Various mental health and law enforcement people have suggested that I am very, very stupid for showing loyalty toward any person. I don’t know why they say that. Suffice to say that I’m often confused.
So, what, are we talking about the wife of an undercover FBI agent or something?

I celebrate and brag on my husband whenever I can. If I do find myself saying something rude to him or about him, I immediately apologize. Married 51 1/5 years.
