Brian Laundrie’s parents are not likely to face criminal charges in connection with Gabby Petito’s disappearance and suspected death, law-enforcement experts told The Post on Monday, citing the difficulty in building any potential case against them.
Christopher and Roberta Laundrie have kept mum since Petito was reported missing Sept. 11, even barring cops from speaking to their lawyered-up son, who has since vanished himself.
The sensational case took a tragic turn Sunday when a body “consistent” with Petito’s description was found at Bridger-Teton National Forest in Wyoming.

Missing White Chick. Common distraction the media uses when far more important things should be on the front pages, like voter fraud and deaths by covid jabs.
“but did the boyfriend Brian return to work”
That assumes he ever had a job.
“Seriously? We don’t know much of anything yet. They are not even 100% sure the body is hers.”
FBI gave their condolences to her parents.
“Now we have a body buried”
You pull that out of your butt?
Fortunately for my nephew, we got him bailed out, and he had an uncle (albeit out of state) who was a lawyer. I heard his side, did a bit of digging, and confirmed the whole thing was a scam. Case was dropped after the woman texted him multiple times saying she was sorry for making the whole thing up, and after we found out that she and the old man were actually married (for an immigration scam) and that she had been arrested twice for beating up the old man. Complete mess.
Point is, the justice system in California was all set to ruin my nephew's life, and it was only pure fortune on his part that kept that from happening.
So yeah, not a huge fan of the criminal justice system when it involves accusations that relate to certain popular narratives.
LOL
Dittos
Unless they have been vaccinated, in which case none of that would be necessary.
Been saying this for days. If mauled by animals the ME will not be able to determine the cause of death and then guess what ?
Bizarre comment .
Why are posters here so angry the psycho got Caught ?
They found her body buried 100 ft from where her Van was videoed parked in the Park.

For the accused or suspected to get “Lawyered up” is a Constitutional right. It is a very good thing to do. It is not just for the guilty. In fact it is even more important for the innocent. Why? Because they will be even more at the mercy of the police and not know that cops will twist words, lie, intimidate, and exhaust a person to get an admittance of guilt. They will be convinced they are trapped and the only way to get relief is to go along. Usually with the hope that will mean leniency.
Bottom line. Any lawyer that advises a client to talk to the police when that client is under investigation is not doing his or her job.
what is your problem with New Yorkers in general, if i may ask?
Thank you. At least somebody remembers that much.
No one other than you said it was buried & my comment is bizarre.
Want bizzare, go read your posts on this topic, thats bizarre.
Please don’t volunteer for jury duty, anywhere.
“Even here - of what scum he and his parents are”
Yeah you and me are on the same page. It must be nice to be able to operate in the rarified absolutist atmosphere. There seem to be a lot of people here who’ve forgotten some things about parenthood. I know the right thing to do, but it would be emotionally torturous! And I don’t know if I would be strong enough to execute the actions required. Maybe some others would just toss the kid under the bus. Maybe the same ones who would disown him if he’d turned gay I dunno.
That being said the parents are absolutely obstructing justice and now have implicated themselves into the case. I might not be strong enough to execute the actions required to turn him in. But would I be dumb enough to set myself up as a co-defendant?
Ya, I don’t think so! You’re on your own there kid! Time to face consequences for your actions and wish I’d been a better parent. Lets lawyer up and get you to the station son... We’ll face it together.
That’s a painful line of thought right there.
I have been speculating that perhaps she fell off a steep embankment and he panicked, lost all sense of reality and his mind.
I do not believe he killed her, but failed her.
Or aiding & abetting a fugitive?
I think you’re right. The kid probably isn’t even legally considered a fugitive unless and until he is indicted or a warrant issued for his arrest.
Bet an ice cream bar it IS her.
