Have some pecan pie. 🥧😁
Reading labels in the PB isle will open your eyes
Sometimes you feel like a nut...
I dunno, there are some fat squirrels at my park, but then again people are probably feeding them junk food.
What if you’re kosher?
That is weird. People who need a massive amount of calories to survive eat massive amounts of fat, and it seems to work.
We are talking over 10,000 calories a day.
Hard, physical labor and the requirement for heat production in sub-zero temperatures.
Massive amount of fat intake.
Good fat
Although nuts are high fat, it’s the good fat and helps lower cholesterol.
Good fat.
If all you eat is fat or protein you will starve to death.
I can’t find an article on fat starvation, but it is the same principle as protein starvation.
Both fat and protein require almost as much energy to catabolize as they return.

It’s not a great secret. When we eat whole nuts, most of the nut passes through undigested. Not the same for processed nut butters.
these are freaking delicious
I’ll have to pick some of those up next time I’m there. Thanks....
If you find that you like them you may want to stock up. They tend to sell out quickly and don’t always get replenished right away.
I like that they’re large and non-greasy.

I believe you are mistaken.
You need both fat and protein to survive. Remove them from your diet, and you will have lots of problems.
Both fat and protein produce plenty of energy. Some carbohydrates are also useful.
Some native people lived principally on rabbits in the winter, by eating the whole rabbit.
Rabbit brains, for example, have a fair amount of fat.
There is also fat in the internal organs.
You cannot survive only on carbohydrates. NAZI scientists are reported as finding a person can survive on a carbohydrate only diet for two months.
Remember, much of what we consider "carbohydrates" contain a fair amount of protein and fat.
Wheat, corn, vegetables; most contain fat and protein.
So rocky mountain oysters are back on the menu?
What if you eat a hundred pounds of nuts? At one time?
Thank you ;>)
I believe you are mistaken.
I am recalling from my Physiology 101 course.
The number of ATP invested for the number of ATP returned is small compared to carbohydrates.
But I repeat that fat does not make you fat, and low fat diets are a dangerous superstition.
