Joan Baez has ended touring? Thought she was dead. Her “music” certainly is.

who’ve announced an end to touring — Paul Simon, Joan Baez, Elton John

Rogue's gallery of liberals, hippies and a fag.

So?

Yup, they spawned a big chunk of rock history. I saw Mayall with Mick Taylor at the Roxy in ‘84, back when he was 50. Never would’ve imagined he’d still be at it over 3 1/2 decades later.

Wow, haven’t heard that rocker in decades. Album “Back to the Roots” was great and favorite song was Prisons on the Road....

Between you and Ben Lurkin you are naming most of the Mayall albums I have. Back to the Roots is another one from the ‘70’s featuring that same line-up: Mick Taylor, Almond, Mark and Clapton was also on it. Great double album.
