According to police, Donna Marino, 63, charged with larceny, told her husband he had Alzheimer's to "prevent him from going to the bank."
Police arrested a 63-year-old woman, who they allege, over decades, forged her husband's signature on legal documents to defraud him of $600,000 in pension and Social Security checks and other monies.
wife, Donna Marino, began "stealing his money" in 1999, and that she had "controlled all of his finances during their time together and that he had no idea that she was stealing from him," according to Murgo.
"Marino would forge her husband's signature on his pension checks, Social Security checks, worker's compensation settlements, and other legal documents, before depositing the funds in a secret bank account without his knowledge," Murgo said.

When I told my wife of a similar case of a guy at work, she said she could clean me out and I would never know.
She is not wrong.
Hookers are way cheaper than 600 kilobucks
Don’t women do this routinely?
Yes
My first wife did this legally and then some. And after our divorce, NJ Family Court aided and abetted her in shaking me down for every penny. $600K over 20 years, the guy got off cheap.
We pay for it one way or another, sometimes with our sanity.
*** We pay for it one way or another, ****
One way or another, I’m gonna gittchya, gittchya, gittchya !!!!
This guy never heard of direct deposit?
Arghhhh!
My ex did this to me through the courts via a series of lies, exaggerations and making out of context remarks. The legal system sucks.
A. Who informed the Husband of the fraud as seen in year 2019?
B. Has either spouse filed for divorce yet?
C. Did Wife have a Gigalo to shower with gifts?
Someone once said “if it flies, floats or fornicates, rent it!!”
I know of three, based on alcohol, one cocaine.
All near age 50 and steadily employed at a well-paying position.
—”Has either spouse filed for divorce yet?”
I knew a few and one never divorced they lived in the same house with two young kids.
She died of cancer a few years back.
About a mile down my lane is a very nice house, pool, pool house, six-car garage...
His late wife’s brother lives there, my friend unknowingly paid for the building. It was a loan without any paperwork.
That's some impressive gaslighting, did she previously work for CNN?
The question is why a guy would keep paying it.
Some guys just dont learn and keep going back for more. They keep repeating the same mistake.
Dirty Deeds, done dirt cheap!
No truer words
She “ told her husband he had Alzheimer’s.” Doh! The husband lacked logic and courage. Poor guy. Weird how some wives demand the husband’s pay check and then give him an allowance.
$600,000 over 20 yrs equals about $30,000 a yr which is not that much considering she is an equal partner in their marriage....besides, perhaps she also is squirrelling away money from nursing home, health expenses, etc..
